4, 6, 9, 19, 21, 24. :D

Hot damn.

4. You are at the doctor’s office and he has just informed you that you have approximately one month to live. Do you tell anyone/everyone you are going to die? What do you do with your remaining days? Would you be afraid?

Hey, at least I know when I’m going. I can set my affairs straight, say goodbye to people, etc. Oh and I can qualify to ask for something from the Make A Wish foundation. One FOB reunion concert, please.

6. You are walking down the street on your way to work. There is a dog drowning in the canal on the side of the street. Your boss has told you if you are late even once more, you are fired. Do you take the time to save the dogs life? Why or Why not?

Oh you. Dogs can’t drown in Philippine canals.

9. Think of the last person who you know that died. You have the chance to give them 1 hour of life back, but you have to give up one year of yours. Do you do it? Why or Why not?

Yes. As long as it’s one more hour with everyone they love. They deserve closure, to say goodbye, to see them again.

19. Would you give a homeless person CPR if they were dying? Why or Why not?

No, because I don’t know how to do CPR, and if you don’t know how to do it, you’ll end up harming the person more.

21.You are holding onto your grandmother’s hand and the hand of a newborn that you do not know as they hang over the edge of a cliff. You have to let one go to save the other. Who do you let fall to their death? What was your rationale for making the decision?

I’d like to think that I can pull up a newborn baby up with only one hand.

24.Which would you choose, true love with a guarantee of a broken heart, or never loved at all? Why?

True love, for sure. I’d rather have feelings course through me like lifeblood than be devoid of the most exhilarating of experiences.

18 please? :)

18.Imagine it is a dark night, you are alone, it is raining outside, you hear someone walking around outside your window. WHO do you wish was there with you?

Batman. Most badass superhero ever, because of the fact that he doesn’t really have any superpowers.

What happened after you told her how you feel? :)
Asketh - vainace

She consoled me, told me she didn’t like me that way, but that she understood how I felt.

1. :D

Hey Venice! :D

1. What is more difficult for you, looking into someones eyes when you are telling someone how you feel, or looking into someones eyes when they are telling you how they feel?

Looking into someone’s eyes when I tell them how I feel. It’s hard, really.

5 and 15. :)
Asketh - pudge-controlstheweather

HI ALLIEEEEEEEE. You should go to UP, okay. There’s a reason your dad loves it there. :))

5. You can have one of the following two things. Which do you choose? Why? Love and Trust.

I’d rather have trust. Love is nothing without it, honestly.

15. What do you think would be the hardest thing for you to give up? Why would it be hard to lose?

Assuming that the thing I have to give up is actually something I have. Giving up people would be too hard.

I would say my love, if that’s the right word. For writing, for art, for people, for myself, for anything, really. Because if I lost it, I wouldn’t have the drive to do anything and just be perpetually sad. No reason to keep living, as morbid and depressed as that sounds.

13.When was the last time you told someone HONESTLY how you felt regardless of how difficult it was for you to say? Who was it? What did you have to tell the person?

I assume that you mean how I told someone how I felt romantically. The last time was sometime in March, I believe. Funny story, really. We told each other how we felt at the same time, and afterwards, we were like “What, really?”

In terms of difficulty, though, I’d have to say, that one time in the summer of 2011. That was hard as anything. I couldn’t even meet her eyes then.

14. What would be (or what was) harder for you to tell a member of the opposite sex, you love them or that you do not love them back?

I’ve honestly never had to do the second, and the first was actually very hard, so I’d say the first.

An open letter

Dear tall guy in a varsity jacket on a date with really cute short girl in Trinoma today,

Can I just say one thing? You two, shet and balls, you were sweet. Like, diabetes inducing sweet. Like, a two year old running around screaming and being chased by his yaya because he’s sugar rushing on something as sweet as you two. Forgive me for stalking, but I couldn’t help it. You looked so happy. So contented. Dammit, man, you just walked around, not going anywhere, really, just enjoying each other being there.

Your smiles were contagious, my friend. I don’t know if it was because I’m kinda in the same situation, or if joy, your joy, was just really infectious. Your happiness, maybe even love, gives me hope.

I still have an aftertaste. It’s caramel and chocolate.

Pokemon.

word-day:

“Thank you, sweetie. You’re a doll.”

Was I a doll? I was, wasn’t I? I was a doll. Easy to manipulate, easy to bend to someone’s will. Sure, I was pretty. Charming, too. I’ve broken more hearts than I’d like to waste time counting. Sometimes, though I’m just helpless, like now.

Why can’t I ever say no to him? I never could. I’m such a pushover when it comes to him. I always was. I’ve never learned to have a mind of my own when it comes to him. It was always “Marcy can you do this for me,” or “Marcy, let’s go here.” And I’d always follow. He always controlled me.

Why can’t I say no? I’ve never said no to him. I’ve said no to countless other guys. Denials, subtle rejections, and even a cold-hearted “Get out of my face,” or two. I’ve never said no to him, though. Is it a soft spot? Is it weakness?

This can’t be. I can’t have weakness. In my line of work, a show of weakness, however small, can have you sitting in the street begging for change in half a second. I can’t be weak. I can’t be a doll.

“I’m nobody’s doll.”

With that, I dropped the dirty plates on the kitchen floor while my grandfather stared in disbelief.

Out of boredom and of a craving for motivation, my friend Gio and I came up with this little writing project. Our other friend, Chandra, joined in as well. Her post isn’t up yet but I bet it’s gonna put my post to shame - she’s brilliant! Anyway, so basically we were inspired by Gone-Postal. We generated a list of 366 words and we’ll be writing anything based on the given word for the day for the rest of the year. Part of the challenge is that we can only use 500 words or less. Woo!

Yes, Mags and I came up with this and all. I’ll be posting a lot of my writing here, so if you like my writing, you should definitely follow word/day. :)

Tsk, dapat di ka nahihiya. Tao tayong pareho.

In my search for cool fonts, I stumbled upon this gem of a font. It’s very nicely designed, and is awesome, but there is one thing about it even more awesome than the font itself… It’s name: “Amputa Bangiz.”
Needless to say, I laughed when I read the name of the font. If you don’t know why it’s funny, then you either don’t speak Tagalog, or you don’t know the expression “Amupta, bangis!” In both cases, the font creator has succeeded in trolling you.
The rest of the text reads “Kingina Ayoz Lakaz!” Both expressions are Tagalog expletives that are commonly used colloquially.
At first, I thought of what other languages could use that expression, but as soon as I clicked the font creator’s page, I realized that I have discovered a great Filipino troll. With nearly 200,000 downloads as of this writing, it is safe to say that great counts of both laughter and awe have been generated by this font.
Three cheers to Quiccs, the creator of Amputa Bangiz, and may I say, amputa, mabangis ka nga!
